Warwick Racecourse Modernisation Project 2006-2008

August 2006

• The £2m Modernisation comences.
• Work to the new Seafood Restaurant begins.
• Old workshops will be demolished and building for the new work shops commences.

December 2006

• New workshops will be completed. The workshops will house equipment for the ground staff team.

• The new Seafood Restaurant will be expanded to a 50 cover selfservice restaurant.

July 2007

• The new 150 cover Raceday Restaurant will be opened to the public. It will be available to hire for non-racing events.

November 2007

• The new Weighing Room will be opened.Jockeys will move into their new changing facilities located on the ground floor of the Paddock Building.

• The old Changing and Weighing Rooms will be demolished to make way for the Marquee Lawn.

April 2008

• The Marquee Lawn will be open for business.
